Storytime staff will present two workshops that will show parents how storytime can prepare children for reading, and will teach parents to extend the value of storytime through fun activities at home. You should register if you are the parent of children ages 0-5. Bring the kids with you!

The multiuse Roxborough Library Community Room is a display space for the work of talented local artists. Some people may hesitate to go in because our conservation efforts keep the lights off when a room is not in use. Don't be shy! Room lights will turn on when you enter.

Douglas County Libraries now offers library card holders Adventure Pass: free passes to The Wildlife Experience. You may reserve and print passes from your own computer up to 30 days before your visit. Six passes are available for each day; each pass allows six individuals into the museum, $2 off admission to the Extreme Screen Theater, and 10% off purchases in the café and gift shop.
